eMoSys GmbH is an innovative electric motor developer and small-volume manufacturer located in Starnberg. The company has decades of experience in the area of high-performance electric motors, power electronics and engine control units and has been a 100-percent subsidiary of MTU Aero Engines AG since April 2023. With this acquisition, MTU is consistently expanding its activities relating to electrification of the power train. The approximately 30-person eMoSys team develops and produces electric motors with the highest known performance density, among other things for MTU’s Flying Fuel Cell™. In addition to aviation, eMoSys also works for customers in the automotive, racing, rail transport and medical sectors.
